Ice Princess Danica is 5!

Our little Ice Princess turned 5 on December 27! She is in love with the new Disney movie, Frozen, so she wanted a Frozen themed party. We hosted two parties for her. We always invite family over the night of her birthday since some of our family is in town for the holidays. It's too early to get Frozen birthday party supplies, so I used snowflakes to create a winter theme. The night of her birthday; I decorated the house with pink and white. She wanted a strawberry cake, so I thought the pink would be pretty with the silver snowflakes. We ordered pizza and decorated the food table with white snacks to make it look like snow.

Then we invited her friends over the following weekend. I decorated with blue this time since Elsa is her favorite character in Frozen. I found a super cute blue and white cake to go with the theme. I took it home and hot glued a snowflake to a popsicle stick. We set up tables in the garage so the kids could make their own snowflake. And Danica wanted a snow castle pinata. Glitter was everywhere, but it was so much fun!

I can't believe my baby is 5. I interviewed her so I will always remember what her favorite things are at 5 years old:

Favorite Color: Blue
Favorite Movie: Frozen
Favorite Cartoon: My Little Pony
Favorite Toys: Little Mermaid Characters (plays with them in the bath) and her Frozen dolls

I asked if she could move up to Fun Track at Gymnastics. She has been in Little Flippers for over two years. When we saw her at parent observation, we knew it was time. It's also time for her to start practicing for her spring recital with the dance academy. AND.... Kindergarten Registration is next month. Oh my!!! Am I ready for this!

Happy 5th Birthday, Danica. We LOVE you more than you will EVER know.
