Danica has loved getting out in the snow. We have a bit of a hill in our neighborhood, so we took her on Joe's boogie board. She had so much fun. But it's a throw down by the time she's really cold and wants to go into the house and take all of her layers off.
Our new neighbors have a 3 year old girl. They came over some, too. Danica and Joe enjoyed having someone to play with. Her dad helped Joe build a huge snowman and she played with Danica.
We didn't get Maverick out much. I took him out for the first snow. He was really interested until he face planted. He likes to eat it, though. Joe LOVES snow cream and stocks the freezer every time there is snow. And every time someone opens the freezer, Maverick heads straight for the snow. Danica likes to eat the snow, too. And that doesn't surprise me- Danica loves ice in general. She asks for a bowl of crushed ice to eat almost daily.
The best part about the third snow is that it fell during the day and not over night. I was at work and got to watch it out my window. And since I picked Danica up from school, we both got to play in it!

I'm hearing that we might get more snow, too! This has definitely been a different winter for sure. We just don't get snow like this in Eastern NC.
