It's a Girl!

We had our anatomical ultrasound yesterday and it's a GIRL! We are so excited! So far, she is developing normally-she has all 4 chambers of her heart; her brain, her spine, and her kidneys have all developed. We were told that she will have long legs and a long torso... just like Joe. It was really neat to watch as the nurse checked all her organs and took measurements. Technology really is amazing these days! I'm still a bit scared to commit to "girl"... but maybe some other things will happen in the next couple of months that will make me feel more "sure". Joe is really happy about having a girl. As a matter of fact, he is already preparing the guns. It was funny; sometime in the hour it took to take all the measurements and check her organs, she crossed her arms over her chest and went to sleep. When the nurse moved the image to her legs, she had those crossed as well and Joe responded with, "good; she can keep them that way until she's 30." Men are so funny about their daughters! I just know she is going to have him wrapped around her little finger! My next appointment is scheduled for August 26.
