Happy Valentines Day!

I know it's a little late, but I wanted to tell you all about our Valentines Day and show you the Valentines we made for Danica's class. I found the cutest Butterfly Valentines on Pinterest. Take a look:

Danica, Joe, and I made 21 valentines for Danica's classmates and her teachers. I was tickled pink that Joe wanted to help. I think he had more fun than Danica. I'm glad he likes to help with stuff like that. I can always count on him when we help Danica with art projects. For Valentines Day, I got Mema, Joe, and Danica their favorite candies and got Danica a Valentine Sock Monkey.

Joe gave us each a rose. He gave Danica hers when he picked her up from school to take her out to lunch and gave me mine (in addition to Godiva gems and a Ghiradelli Caramel Bar that I ate in two days) when he picked me up for dinner. We got tickets to go to ECU's Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre. We went last year with Mema and Travis and had so much fun. Mema kept Danica this year so we could go with our sweet friends Kim and Josh. We had so much fun hanging out with them.

Last Sunday, we dressed Danica up in her Valentines Dress for church. I bought it for her last year and was so excited she could still wear it this year. I took pictures of her last year and uploaded them to our hard drive- right before our computer crashed. We weren't able to save them. But I got pictures this year:

Isn't she precious! I ordered her dress from Etsy. I love that website, too! I hope everyone had a fun Valentine's Day!

What cute little Valentines! That is really great that he likes to help out with stuff like that. My dad was the same way and I remember having him help with all kinds of little projects!

I also think it is totally adorable that he got her a rose. What a sweet thing to do!
