MAVERICK'S ON A ROLL!

Maverick is 16 pounds now, so we began feeding him baby food this past weekend. He LOVES it! He liked his bananas, but really went wild over sweet potatoes. Mema fed him peaches yesterday and reported that he liked them as well. So we are now feeding him a fruit for breakfast and a vegetable for dinner and he still gets his bottle every 3 hours (longer if he eats food). He also rolled over for the first time yesterday. I video-taped some of his attempts this past weekend and then he rolled over yesterday when Mema left the room. I put him in the crib after his feeding this morning and found him sleeping on this stomach after my shower- scary! Now we really have to watch him!
Maverick is such a happy baby and so laid back. I seriously think his favorite past time is sitting in his daddy’s lap at night watching sports. He is so attentive to everything. He seems to be much older than what he really is- YIKES! I scheduled an appointment to have pictures taken of him and Danica. I haven’t had formal pictures taken of him since his newborn session and well, before he gets out of his baby stage… LOL!

He also laughs out loud now and makes sweet noises when he smiles. And he can be loud, especially when he “yells” at us. It is PRECIOUS! I love sweet baby noises. He thinks Danica is so funny. She is so good with him. She likes to crawl into his crib with him in the morning when she gets up. It’s so sweet!

My kids ROCK and life is good. We are serious about finding a house now and have made an offer. We are waiting to hear back. We also registered Danica to attend Covenant School in the fall. Her ballet teacher is the director there. She is super sweet and LOVES Danica! We are so excited. We are going to sign Danica up for summer camp at gymnastics and ballet and are considering swim lessons. I also want to join a pool since I get ½ day Fridays. I can’t wait for warmer weather.

We are also taking the kids to Arizona in May to see Uncle Travis graduate from Arizona State University. We will be there for a week and plan to do some sight-seeing as well. I want to go to the Grand Canyon and the boys want to go to Las Vegas. It should be a fun trip for sure!
