7 weeks to go and I'm getting a little restless, breathless, and forgetful! My co-workers are laughing at me all the time since I go into their office always forgetting what I went there for. Things are still going well, though, and I'm still full of energy. I think I'm starting to get the Braxton Hicks contractions and those get me off my feet for a minute or two, but I feel great.
Joseph and I had our maternity pictures done this past weekend. One of the instructors at work has started her own business and begged me to let her photograph me. I probably would not have had maternity pictures taken since the only ones I have ever seen were bare belly, but after going to her website, I knew her work was going to be different. I just wore a form fitting shirt that would really show the curves of my baby bump. She sent us raw pictures today, so we are going to go through them tonight. Hopefully I can share them by the end of the week. They are really beautiful!
In the past week, I've also had a couple of showers. My co-workers gave me one last Thursday and my family gave me a shower this past Sunday. We are so blessed to have so many people love Danica. I can't believe how many beautiful things people have given her. I really do appreciate everyones help. I didn't realize babies need so much to get started. And it was really great to see everyone, too. Thats what I love about special events like these... it gives us an opportunity to connect with friends and family we haven't seen in a while. And I can't wait to introduce everyone to Danica Carrie!
