Friday Funnies

Danica can say some pretty funny things sometimes, so I thought I would share!

All the movies we have been (finally) letting her watch ALL showcase the word, "Stupid". And since I don't like to hear sweet 4 year olds say it, I have asked her not to use it. And when I remind her not to use it, I spell it. So now when she hears it, she says:

"Mommy, we don't use that P-I-D word!"

We just moved into a new house with beautiful hard wood floors on the entire first level and I don't like to wear my shoes on them. I went home for lunch one day and didn't take my shoes off and Danica protested:

"Mommy, there's no high heel shoes on the floor!

 And here's the highlight of the week:

I'm reading a book called The Happiest Mommy. I leave it on my nightstand so I can read it (since I occasionally have one of those perfect nights when Maverick really does go down at 8:00 p.m. and I have an some time before I read books to Danica). One night I was reading to her when she asked me about my book. I told her the title. She seemed thoughtful for a minute, but immediately dived right back into her book. I didn't think anything of it. Fast forward to this past weekend, she became upset with me when I wouldn't let her have something. We just happened to be in my room when she said"

"You need to read your book so you can learn how to be a Happy Mommy!"


Love that girl- she's a hoot!
